How to change the S2-Snap Boa of your Specialized Shoes

Whether it's because you're broken or because you want to add a touch of color to your Specialized shoes by changing the color of the Boa dial it's interesting that you know how to do it so you do not have any kind of problem.

If you want to give your Specialized shoes a personal touch by changing the color of the Boa Dial wheel now you can with the Specialized S2-Snap Boa Kit, available in 5 colors; red, pink, orange, yellow and blue, for personalization to be maximum, this kit is supplied with a right Boa Dial, another left and 2 cables.

Replace the Dia Boa with your Specialized Shoes

EThis kit is compatible with the following Specialized shoe models:

  • S-Works Road
  • S-Works XC
  • S-Works XC Mujer
  • Pro XC
  • Cascade Mujer
  • Rime Expert
  • Comp MTB

Assembly instructions for Specialized S2 Kit Sanp Boa

Loosen the Boa Dial to remove the cable from the shoe.

Loosen the cable of the Dial Boa Specialized

Using a small flat-blade screwdriver, pry outward on the top of the Boa Dial's caster until it is removed from its lanyard and can be separated from the shoe.

Remove the Boa dial closure from your Specialized shoe

Now we can remove the Boa sheave from the shoe


Fit the new Boa Dial by its lower tab and press on the upper part until it is completely fixed in its anchor.

Fit the Boa dial to the shoe by the lower tab


Volver a pasar el cable por la pestaña de sujeción.

Press the Boa dial until it fits correctly in the shoe

Remember that a very good habit is to firmly tighten the Boa dial when you're on the bike so we get a more natural fit and tighten and avoid overloading it with our instep.
